Christian Magoon is Founder and CEO of Amplify ETFs. An ETF veteran, Christian has launched over 70 ETFs in the United States to date. He has helped drive the adoption of ETFs by U.S. investors through numerous educational efforts highlighting the efficiency, transparency and flexibility of the ETF vehicle.
Previously, Magoon served as President of Claymore Securities (now Guggenheim Investments). He led product development, marketing and distribution of ETFs, unit investment trusts and closed-end funds. Christian launched Claymore’s ETF business in 2006 and it became one of the fastest growing and most innovative ETF Sponsors in the industry. Magoon is also founder of Magoon Capital, LLC.
Christian has been honored to receive recognition for his impact in the investment and ETF industry. He has been referred to as an "ETF Pioneer" by both The Financial Times and Financial Planning Magazine. Christian is a member of the Wall Street Journal’s Panel on Wealth Management called “The Experts.” He was featured by The New York Times in an article titled “The Low-Cost Power of Exchange-Traded Funds.” Christian regularly provides his investment insight and industry knowledge to a variety of U.S. media outlets.
William Belden is President of Amplify ETFs. With over 30 years’ experience in financial services, Bill has served in roles covering Product, Marketing, and Sales across multiple investment structures. Prior to joining Amplify in 2018, Bill served as Head of ETF Business Development and earlier as Head of Product Development for Guggenheim Investments. In these roles, Bill was responsible for the development and execution of Guggenheim’s product strategy in funds.
Prior to its acquisition by Guggenheim, Bill was responsible for the development of Claymore Securities’ ETF product line. Prior to joining Claymore in 2005, he was a senior product manager at Northern Trust, where he was responsible for overseeing all proprietary mutual fund products. Bill is regularly quoted in and has appeared on major financial media outlets. He earned his MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Miami University. He is Series 7, 24, and 66 registered.
Brad Bailey is the Chief Financial Officer of Amplify ETFs and has served in that role since 2016. Brad has 32 years of experience in the accounting field with over 20 of those in the financial services industry.
Prior to joining Amplify ETFs, Brad served as the CFO for multiple fund complexes including private investment funds, fund-of-funds, and proprietary trading structures. In his role as CFO, he has led the finance, accounting, treasury, operations, and compliance functions. Brad spent the first 10 years of his career with Coulson Oil Company, Inc. in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Brad graduated in 1990 from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in Accounting. Brad received a Master of Science in Financial Markets in 2007 from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Missionary Furlough Homes Foundation, Wheaton, Illinois.
Robin Tardy is the National Sales Manager at Amplify ETFs. She is responsible for strengthening our presence in the financial advisor community. Robin leads a team of experienced ETF professionals, driving business development and delivering exceptional client service. She partners with institutional and intermediary advisors to help them realize their investment goals.
With over 25 years of experience in wealth management and investment management, Robin has successfully built, developed, and managed client-facing teams to serve all advisor segments and investment solutions. Her experience in ETFs dates back to 2006, when she helped lead and distribute the initial suite of ETFs for Claymore Securities.
Before joining Amplify, she served as Senior Vice President and Head of US Investment Advisory Private Wealth for Northern Trust Asset Management. Robin has held various senior sales and leadership roles at financial service firms such as Guggenheim Investments and Claymore Securities. She began her career in sales at First Trust Portfolios.
Robin earned a B.A. from the University of Illinois-Chicago, where she also played for their Division I women’s basketball program. She holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 66 licenses.
Brian Giere leads the national account initiatives at Amplify ETFs. In this role, Brian is responsible for the business development and relationship management with key decision-makers at some of the largest firms in the investment industry. Brian’s experience in ETFs spans across many different areas, including sales, business development, marketing, and as an investment advisor creating ETF models for clients.
Prior to Amplify, Brian was an investment advisor with Promus Capital, a multi-family office in Chicago. Prior to joining Promus, Brian was Senior Vice President of National Accounts at Claymore Securities (now Guggenheim Investments). His experience in ETFs dates back to 2006 where he helped launch the initial suite of ETFs for Claymore Securities. Brian has also held positions at First Trust Portfolios and USA Financial. Brian earned his B.A. from Hope College (Holland, MI).
Jennifer Hasbrouck is Head of Marketing at Amplify ETFs. With almost 15 years of ETF industry and 25 years of marketing experience, Jennifer has marketed many ETF first as well as some of the largest and oldest ETFs in market today. Prior to joining Amplify ETFs, Jennifer served as Global Head of Marketing for Morningstar Investment Management. In this role, Jennifer was responsible for modernizing the global marketing capabilities and driving revenue growth through a more effective client-centric market strategy across regions.
Additionally, Jennifer was previously at Invesco holding various senior marketing leadership positions—Head of Investment Marketing, Invesco and Head of Marketing, PowerShares ETFs (now Invesco ETFs). Jennifer first joined Invesco as Head of PowerShares ETF Marketing to lead the global brand initiatives as well as transform the go-to-market strategy focused on enhanced content strategy, driving engagement, retention, and revenue growth. She has a Bachelor of Science in business with concentration in marketing. She is Series 7 and 24 registered.
David Wilding is the Chief Operating Officer of Amplify ETFs and began serving in that role in February 2023. David has served in the financial services industry since 1994 in various capacities, including legal, compliance and operations.
Prior to Amplify ETFs, David served as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Performance Trust Capital Partners and PT Asset Management, managing the Legal and Compliance Department for over 25 years.
David has a Bachelor of Arts from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA and earned his JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, IL. He is Series 7, 24, and 27 registered.
