Core portfolio holdings generally are designed to weather all types of market conditions or provide diversified exposure. Amplify ETFs’ suite of BlackSwan ETFs—SWAN, QSWN, and ISWN (international), are designed to provide investors with participation in equity market returns but also hedge against significant losses. Amplify’s IWIN ETF is a multi-asset approach to help fight against inflation. Amplify’s MVPS ETF is designed to provide broad-based exposure to thematic equities.
To complement core holdings, investors may focus on certain market segments that have the potential to deliver higher returns over a market cycle due to their disruptive approach to business. Amplify ETFs has developed several ETFs that provide diversified exposure to a variety of high-growth industries including: online retail stocks (IBUY), blockchain- and crypto-related stocks (BLOK), lithium and battery tech stocks (BATT), digital and online trading (BIDS), legal cannabis stocks (CNBS), and emerging market fintech (EMFQ).
For many investors, generating income from their portfolio is a primary goal. Amplify ETFs has developed a suite of distinct income ETFs that seek to provide attractive income to shareholders. Amplify’s DIVO (domestic) and IDVO (international) ETFs focus on blue-chip stocks with a history of growing their dividends. In addition, DIVO and IDVO generate income from tactically writing covered calls on individual stocks in its respective portfolio. Amplify’s NDIV ETF is an innovative approach to high monthly income potential from energy and materials stocks. Amplify YYY ETF owns a basket of high-income-producing closed-end funds managed by a variety of well-known asset managers.
