Business Intelligence Manager

Location: Lisle, Illinois

The Business Intelligence Manager is a seasoned investment professional who will serve as liaison for our ETF investment capabilities engaging with APs and Market Makers to help grow the Amplify brand.  The Business Intelligence Officer will also provide proactive and continuous engagement regarding ETF research, liquidity analysis, as well as analytical insights related to ETF trends in the marketplace and competitive intel.  This role will also serve as lead for our Business Intelligence efforts working with all areas of Distribution including Sales, Marketing, and National Accounts to develop and manage multiple databases to support a targeted distribution & sales strategy in the intermediary marketplace. In addition, oversees the development, maintenance, and security of an organization’s databases.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work with  leadership and product areas to facilitate reviews and stay abreast of market trends and economic updates
  • Liaison to index providers, sub-advisors, and market makers to drive efficiency and arm distribution teams with timely information to retain and grow assets
  • Collaborate with Broadridge and Data partners to create data repositories & Power BI Dashboards to support Product, Sales, National Accounts and Marketing efforts
  • Enhance the effectiveness of our database tools and services helping to build the structure and design of the database
Requirements
  • Subject matter expert with investment acumen and analytical skills applicable to ETF marketplace
  • Extensive experience supporting asset management teams serving intermediary and institutional clients
  • 10+ years investment related experience with relevant subject matter expertise with ETFs and Business Intelligence
  • Deep knowledge of multiple traditional and non-traditional asset classes, global financial markets and product operations
  • Proficient in Power BI, Bloomberg, Morningstar, Broadridge, & Evestment
  • In-depth knowledge of database technologies and proficiency in structured query language
